Ashtanga yoga is a rigorous and dynamic practice that follows a specific sequence of postures, linking movement to breath.
Kundalini A mix of hatha postures, breathing exercises, mantras, mudras, sound healing (gong), deep relaxation and meditation. Deep healing and inner connection.
Bikram Set sequence of 26 hatha postures in a room heated to 42 degrees. Sweat, stretch and focus.
Hatha flow is aimed at lengthening, loosening, and relaxing the body and mind.
Vinyasa yoga is a breath-synchronized movement, a fluid and flowing practice to strengthen body and mind.
Yin yoga is a slow-paced practice in which poses are held for more than five minutes, targeting the connective tissues, ligaments, bones and joints.
Fly high yoga lengthens the spine and increases your flexibility with the aid of gravity and the FlyHighYoga™ hanging belt. This class has a maximum limit of six people.
Acrovinyasa is a modern form of yoga, which combines yoga, performance, and acrobatics. It builds strength and flexibility, but most importantly trust and teamwork.
The retreat will take place in Ubud, the cultural hub of Bali and is only a 2 minute drive from the centre. The hotel, Labak Riverside Resort provide a shuttle service at 10am and 5pm if you wish to get a ride into the center of Ubud where it is full of cafes, shopping etc. The yoga studio and accommodation whilst in the heart of Ubud is backing onto a beautiful pristine jungle valley with river views. The brand new luxury accommodation is located right next to Ubud Yoga Centre.
Complimentary breakfast is provided daily. For other meals, an in-house restaurant is available on site both at your accommodation and at Ubud Yoga Centre. The restaurant features healthy homemade meals and plenty of variety for everyone to choose from. The restaurant caters for vegans and vegetarians, with no MSG or chemical enhancements used.

The Kundalini retreat at Ubud Yoga Centre was my first Kundalini lesson and I found the teacher Alexis a wonderful heart centered woman.
The environment was exiting. She prepared the days very professionally. There was room for laughter, enjoyment and fun.
The start was with Sadhana. Because it was my first time I wasn’t prepared for this. But I tried to do my best. After the Sadhana there was interesting, practical and deep learnings to understand how to live with more radiance. After this we did the exercises and Alexis was explaining for which organ the exercise related to. At the end we had a wonderful meditation with live music. It helped me to relax, release making me feel lighter and more youthful.
Even thought Kundalini yoga can be very intense method, Alexis presented it in such a way that i felt held, relaxed, deeply connected within.
Th transformative effect has been deeply felt even after departing Ubud, and now back in the Netherlands, I continue to do Kundalini yoga, it has become a part of my life. What I really love is the combination of exercises with breathing and singing mantra’s because of the speed at which it clears my entire being and makes me more positive, energetic and happy while fitter.
I am so grateful I met Alexis, my new appreciation of mantras has allowed me to feel deeply inside my body for the first time, the vibrations have reduced a lot of stress, disharmony and rigidity. Alexis gave me such a precious experience of Kundalini Yoga, an experience that has now allowed me to release certain blocks in my life and live with more feminine grace, inner peace and self love.
